- What happens when I hit my monthly limit?
- Requests over the plan quota return a 402 with a clear upgrade prompt — usage is metered per request, so there are never silent overage charges. Upgrading takes effect immediately.
- Why do plans gate model access as well as volume?
- Because an uncapped free tier on an expensive model is how AI products lose money. The free plan stays on the fastest, cheapest Claude model; paid plans unlock the full lineup, and every request is cost-tracked either way.
- Can I switch or cancel plans?
- Yes. Plans are monthly Stripe subscriptions managed from the billing portal in the dashboard — switch or cancel any time and the change applies at the next billing period.
- Is this what Shipwright itself costs?
